MSc Nursing will prepare Nurses, to improve the quality of nursing education and practice, in India. It will build upon and extend, competence acquired at the graduate level of nursing practice, education, administration and development of research skills. It will prepare nurses for leadership positions in nursing and health care fields, who can function as nurse specialists, consultants, educators, administrators and researchers in a wide variety of professional settings in meeting the National priorities and the health care needs of the country.
This advanced program focuses on specialized nursing knowledge and skills, preparing graduates for leadership roles in clinical practice, education, administration, and research. Students develop expertise in their chosen specialty area while gaining advanced competencies in evidence-based practice and healthcare innovation.
The Minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
